Hostal Mercedes Av. is a Transdisciplinary Art Group founded by Carlos Alejandro Ponzio de León in 2015. It prodcues and performs works of art that combine literature, painting, music, dance and many other art forms and mediums. Created in Mexico City, it has performed in Museums, Galleries, Cultural Centers, Cafés, Bars, Universities, Public and other spaces.
Between 2017 and 2021, it was formed by its leader, multidisciplinary artist Carlos A. Ponzio, actor Rubén Castillo, pianist Cuauhtémoc Rodríguez, and bassoonist Juan Carlos Villaseñor Patiño.
